I'm looking over the logs for a 182R, and there are a few entries for what appears to be LH and RH "mcg tines", or maybe "mlg", but I can't really read the writing. Does anyone know what that might represent? It seems to come up in every annual, and even some of the 100hr inspections.

I would suspect the first word is a sloppy mechanic abbreviating magneto. Tines might be times.

If so, then I still have no idea what he is talking about, because it said it was replaced. The more I read it, I think it may be MLG, and maybe stand for main landing gear?

Main landing gear tires one would assume.

Ok, I feel really silly, because that is it. Sure seems like they are going through a lot of tires!

Thanks, guys.
