I just started discussing this with Ted via email, but was curious on other folks' take in here.
I just bought a Navajo, and the only major squawk is that there's some inconsistencies with the manifold pressure reading.
A slight adjustment can cause the indication to drop from say 33" to 28" then work its way back up to 31" or 32" without further inputs.
During descent this weekend there were multiple times where the MAP climbed from about 29" to 34" with zero changes to throttle/rpm. It did appear to be producing asymmetric thrust, but the difference was minor enough that it could have simply been a small delta between the engines I otherwise wouldn't have noticed if I wasn't looking for it. But, this is what makes me think it might be the boost controller not the gauge.
Thoughts?
