Oh great! Planes parked on driveways. Planes driving on parkways. Next we will have dogs and cats living together. Mass hysteria!

I'm guessing the truck following it is towing a "Wide Load" sign.

You think the plane got pulled over for failure to signal for lane change?

This is part of the up and coming fad for 21st century airparks (especially in California ;) )

I started this thread just to see if the title would, at some point, precede or follow the "man parks plane..." thread.

I was actually thinking of a story from Australia last year, which I think was discussed here, but liked the image I put in the OP better (which is a news photo of a forced landing on a highway, but it has that "OJ in the Bronco" look about it).

I may be spending too much time here; I'm starting to think like some of the regulars. :yikes:

God help you my son..............:D

So, I guess I missed the story on this. Was this the guy who had previously parked his airplane in the driveway and now he's taking it back to the airport since he has no medical.

At least he didn't hire Southwest Airlines to move his plane for him.

They seem to have trouble keeping planes on the pavement.

Doing a google search on the image ties it to a CNN story (erroneously) headlined "Plane Crash Lands On Busy Highway".

Maybe he wanted some cole slaw and the on field restaurant was out?
