"LSAs are VFR only"

Its just not safe for either of us. On departure I will be doing 200 kts and when I exit the class D, It will get pushed to 250 kts. On approach, minimum speed is going to be 125 kts or 130 kts depending on which one I am flying. Jets and LSA's don't mix well.
IME jets and LSAs (or more accurately slow flying airplanes since some LSAs cruise faster than many certified airplanes that don't qualify as LSA) mix just fine as long as both pilots concede that each class of aircraft has a different set of limitations and are willing to accommodate same. BTW unless you never fly your jet in VMC it seems to me that you will be mixing it up with LSAs even if they don't fly in IMC.

I agree jets and other aircraft don't mix well. We need to get those pesky and dangerous jets out of our airspace. Especially IFR, they are a real hazard and a PITA to deal with.
