Looking for Sport DPE in Colorado

Has anyone here done a Sport checkride in the Denver area? I am starting to plan ahead by trying to find one that comes with a good reputation (after reading a few nightmare DPE stories here).

What are you flying? We’ve got a really great one around Sedona AZ, which is a ways away, I know, but he’s easy to schedule and just a great DPE. Depending on what you’re flying, can get a quick local area checkout, a good night’s sleep, and Checkride next day. PM if more info might help.

All DPEs receive an annual Letter of Designation via the new FAA Designee Management System, specifying their particular authorizations. Obviously, all Sport Pilot DPEs are authorized to perform initial SP ratings within their rated category and class. Not all DPEs who do higher ratings are also designated for SP, so you have to ask. All the DPEs when I did my license were “able” to do it according to the FAA website, but from what I know none of them were willing. So they had to fly down a DPE from a neighboring state that was able and willing.
