I am looking for a flight instructor in the SF Bay that has experience with a Garmin 750 with Aspen display. Any referrals?

Mark,

I have some experience with the 650 and an Aspen. Where in the bay area?

Ideally San Carlos or Palo Alto. Where are you located?

So much for email notifications. I am in the north bay. Petaluma. Send me a pm and I will give you my contact info.

Was reading an article in the Aviation Consumer about Garmin corporate training and the cost and time involved.

I know it isn't the same as real time, but the simulators that Garmin puts out are a great way to get the feel for which know to turn/push.

Seems it would be great for someone (maybe King has this) to put a syllabus together to let you work through different scenarios on the simulator. IE: Bugsmasher 1234, direct "anyfix" then V123 "next fix"

Let you see if you can set it up for that, then re-direct you via another route.

Anyone know if this is available.

I have personal experience with the G500/600 sim software and can say that it cut my learning curve down significantly. Totally agree with Tim.
