Looking at buy a plane

Nah, it's way overpriced. I'd see if you could talk him down at least a couple thousand.

Well, that would be a rare bird. A 150 that seats 4 passengers. Maybe that's why they are looking for $1,760,017,600. o_O

for that price I was really expecting a glass panel. Without glass it's probably a little overpriced.

Its pretty obvious you're paying for the paint on that bird. Not everyday you see a Ferrari Red 150 with Racing Stripes.

Nah, I think the premium price is for that upgraded Cessna interior with the yellow carpet...

Do the typical buyer thing, offer him 20% less and see if they take it...

It seats 4, and the useful is 535. A steal I tell you, a steal :)

I think $17,000 is a fair price. The 150H is a good airplane. The main problem with the O-200 is sticking valves. Not the fastest airplane around, but fairly inexpensive to operate (if there is such a thing when we are talking about airplanes) and a lot of fun to fly. As long as you aren't the "typical" 200+ lb. American and want to fly with your 200+ lb. buddy, you could get a lot of use.

Average TT, mid time engine, nothing useful in panel, annual due. Pre-J so not the latest panel layout. Paint looks good, interior needs work to make it pretty. Maybe go in at 15k? Nice plane for that money, assuming it isn't a piece of junk.

Because the website linked lists it at 1.7 million bucks. That's funnier than 17,000
No,,, Not 1.7 mill,,,,, I said 1.7 BILLION!!!
It looked like,, 1,760,017,600
You see, if that whole number were cut in half, it would say 17600, twice.
It has since been fixed.

Sorry I misread that. Initially i thought I read 1.7B but then I thought no way they want that much, must be a typo. So I decided 1.7M must be what they meant to put.
