Back in the old days (insurance won't allow it now) EAA sold rides in "Aluminum Overcast" and you actually got to sit in the left seat and make some shallow turns. Sure was a fist full of throttles. People were walking around in the back, so nose up/nose down maneuvers were discouraged. So I have 0.5 hours of B-17G time in my logbook. And a photo too! All else pales by comparison.

where's privett when you need him? he has a license that has a simple one liner "all types and privileges approved". I forget the exact wording but it was always funny when he was going to give a check ride and the kid would want to verify he had a type rating designated for C-172

I've got over 120. Does that come close to RW? I have flown one airplane that I bet nobody else on this forum has flown. A Champion Lancer. Don

you'd lose that bet. The one I ferried had the throttles taped together. It was the owner's way of reinforcing that it was not a multi-engine airplane

Damn, Always someone on this forum that can burst my bubble. I flew 4924Y. My friend had it in his shop and had done extensive maintenance on it and I showed up just in time to get to fly it. That was in 1990. Don
