Line-x

Anybody ever thought of using Line-X to coat the floors of your Airplane? I feel like it would be nice instead of grungy carpet after a wet winter.

I suspect Line-X wouldn't meet flammability-resistance requirements.

I don't know if hit it with a cutting torch while doing auto work and it doesn't seem to burn

How would you do inspections?

I have Line-X'd a bunch of different stuff and it is amazing...but it is not a light substance. Not practical for a GA plane.

Inspection plate access would also be a deal killer.

Floor of your Jeep...great idea. Floor of your plane...good thought but bad idea.

You could do rubber slush mats for trucks that could solve the winter problem. I am from California however where we don't have that Winter thing.
