Let's talk about 121.5...

It’s not “cool”

I should be able to hold my tax paid officials to a higher standard.

I also should not be held to a higher standard than my officials.

It seems we are 0 strikes you’re out, and they are bumper bowling.

And yet I’m asked to care about some pilots saying “let’s go Brandon” on 21.5

Sir, this is a Wendy's.

It sounds like the problem is the quantity of extraneous transmissions more than anything.
Never heard a peep on 121.5 around SE AK. I guess we are just a boring group here...
Same here when flying in CA and AZ.

I see nothing has changed here in the past month since I got banned for expressing a liberal political stance. Guess I just have to come up with some code words instead and it makes it all OK.

There is nothing professional about any pilot that screws around on 121.5. This coming from someone that has issued a Mayday over guard. Regardless of whether the frequency is quiet at the time or not, whether a controller “should” be able to block it out, or whether you think it is funny to denigrate any member of our country.

And as everyone knows, two wrongs make a right. :rolleyes1:

Just asking, maybe demo the type of logic and professionalism they demand at gunpoint (well at least with my paycheck on their copping block)
