Lets make Friday 'Joke Day'!

It really seems like this thread is careening off track..

My guess is the Professor knew them both ;);)
In the biblical sense!

You guys are thinking all wrong.

Mrs. Howell is the obvious choice.

She is very rich and old. When she passes away you will be able to afford Ginger AND Mary Ann....

I'm finding it difficult to argue with that logic. :D

Y'all need some help. Talking about banging a chick that's been dead 33 years and another 4 years.

Gilligan went off the air 57 years ago today.

And it gets worse!

The boat in the Gilligan's Island opening credits was filmed leaving Long Beach, CA for a "three hour tour." The island in range of their departure harbor with that boat and tour time is Catalina Island.

These knuckleheads were marooned on a popular "Pacific Island" 26 miles off the shore of California, with the city of Los Angeles clearly visible, and couldn't engineer their way back home.

"The passengers were going on a "three hour tour" in Hawaii, but the opening credits were actually filmed at the Alamitos Bay Marina in Long Beach, California."

Ok, you guys are just trying to ruin everything. Of course the story of Gilligan's Island was real.

Regardless of the Operating Handbook for that boat, that doesn't take into consideration the hellacious effects of the weather! A combined tail wind and coincident current could well have pushed them way off course, and that could have lasted for much more than the planned three hours.

If the story wasn't real, then I would be a real fool for lusting after Maryann for all these years.

Remember the weather started getting rough, the tiny ship was tossed. That means they were blown of course, no telling where they would end up.

Maybe they were marooned on the southwest side of the island, so they couldn't see the mainland.

Good point. If not for the courage of the fearless crew, the Minnow would be lost.

The Minnow would be lost!
