Lee Bottom's Final Year

Anyone planning on making it to Lee Bottom fly in Spetember 16-18th? I'm planning on it. This year is the last for the fly in. According to the blog posts, it looks like they will be bringing back the Sinful Sundaes for 2017. I had the chance to go before I got my certificate in 2010. Had a ball, great people.

It sucks, the AOPA fly in in Battle Creek is the same day as this thoug.

Sad to hear this is their last fly-in. Any idea why they are ending it?

As to the AOPA fly-in being the same weekend, that happens with all of their fly-ins. There is always scheduling conflicts with smaller and lesser known shows around the country. No way to avoid it. There are even small regional fly-ins and airshows that conflict or compete for the same audience the same weekend. You just have to make your decision on which to attend, go and have fun.
