LeafCutter Bees: making my life difficult

Anybody else have to deal with leaf cutter bees?

They are common out here in west Texas, I always called them "leaf rollers" growing up, never knew the actual name of the critter - but they do have a nasty sting if you accidentally set your hand down on one, I can tell you that!

36% permethrin with a q-tip into the static port and around the fuel drains.

My initial reaction is, damn those are some rusty screws, and one missing?
