Lancair and dirt runways?

Looking at a lancair 320 but one of the airports I use has a dirt runway, approx 4K ft. It’s well maintained but I’m wondering if there are good mods for rock protection or if it isn’t as big of an issue as I am imagining it could be.

I think prop fod might be an issue

Go to lancairtalk.net and create an account. Many Lancair builders and pilots on there including at least one 235, 320 or 360 owner who operates off grass. I wouldn't do it. My 235/340 has 8 inches prop clearance.

I’d add tundra tires.

I dunno, depends on the ground. It looks like trailing link mains, that's good. The nose gear, otoh, is not.
