Having PilotMall.com on field was awesome...and expensive!

Flew into there a few times and ate at the restaurant that was there at the time (may still be) when doing my instrument training at Ocala in 2002. Also did a night flight into there from Venice before that to satisfy the night cross country requirement for my private.

    Couple of questions.

You mentioned LD having the plane 'booked'. Do all three of you own the plane?

And not that it matters, why do you fly with your iPad upside down? :)

Hey! No, just Rog (Paul) and I own the plane, but we have it available to rent as part of a club in Orlando, so Lewis had it booked out for a lesson with a student later in the day.

With regards to the iPad - it's the way the mount fits in a PA-28. If you have it 'upright', it doesn't fit over the yoke and therefore blocks many of the dials Having it this way means it sits nicely in front of the yoke and doesn't get in the way as much.
