This is the east tower recording starting at 4:00PM Thursday. At about the 14-minute mark, the controller tells a pilot to go around, and then starts telling pattern traffic to overfly RWY 16L at 1800 feet. A little later he closes that runway.

The guy describing the scene certainly is a pilot, or a heck of an enthusiast.
I've never been able to flip my 172; only dragged a wingtip and a prop.

Looks like a steady cam shot from a helicopter, so if the guy isn't a pilot then he's probably sitting shoulder-to-shoulder with one.
