Kenneth Copeland's New G-V

Isn't that the craziest thing. Most of Hollywood and 1/2 of DC may believe the same thing about the 'tube of demons', at least they are discreet enough not to say it in public.

LOL. LOL. LOL.

Nobody wants to fly commercial with the unwashed masses if they can afford not to.

Plus you can get a Scientology treatment in while enroute! Bonus! LOL.

They should be taxed.

Also, contributions to them should not be tax deductible.

Can you give a cogent economic reason why?

All sorts of charities besides churches enjoy tax-exempt statuses of all sorts. (Most people know the 501c3 variety but there’s a long list of sub-letters inside of 501c for various reasons.

Hell, even my ham radio clubs are tax-exempt and donations to them are tax write offs within other limits on personal taxes.

Giving the government more money off the top of charitable and community organizations is absolutely meaningless to government, but means a significant number less people any particular charity can serve in its community.

One charity I’ve worked for was associated with a church and built low income housing for single mothers who had struggled with homelessness and addiction. Another is a prison ministry. And then there’s the food banks, work programs in gang run areas of cities that the nice suburbanites pretend aren’t there... etc etc etc.

Why in the world would anyone sane enough to understand basic economics, want either of those taxed? What possible purpose could it serve?

You want that money staying in your community, not going to pay for an out of control debt-spending government who will simply use it to leverage even more debt when it’s already $20 TRILLION in the hole.

What’s the economic point of that? Punishing millions for the few bad churches? There’s plenty of bad secular charities out there who suck down huge percentages of their donations to pay “leadership” huge salaries, and send a few measly bucks on to help those they claim to serve... and lots of ways nowadays to research them.

Should those be taxed also? Tax tax tax. What’s the point?

private sector does way more with a dollar than any gummint organization.....they just are more efficient. Church groups have a ton volunteers with few paid positions.
