What's the big deal? They look like normal approach plates to me.

??? So are they renaming the runways or not.
The 2nd runway, 17/35, will get changed to 18R/36L only after they get the approaches approved for that runway.

There was a significant snafu between TexDOT and the FAA on several levels that made the 2nd runway process very painful for the airport. But those of use who live here are happy to have the additional bit of pavement. It puts the school traffic and their pattern work over there, allowing us to leave and arrive more expeditiously
 
As Wally points out, there is no reason to "hope" they get published. They will almost certainly. Once procedures hit the IFP coordination website, the number of them that are commented on to the point where significant modifications are made (or outright termination of the project) is really, really small.
 
If only the approaches had a "DEATH" STAR for arrivals.
