Flew down to KBWG today to visit the National Corvette Museum. A very nice airport with a friendly staff. Runway is so long and wide, I actually flared a little high - oops! A neat trip for those in the midwest!

Is that the same one that had the sinkhole a while back?

Yes, and they have now filled in the sink hole. They had tape marking the area of the sinkhole which was neat. They also had the destroyed cars on display still caked with dirt - what a shame.

I went to the museum a few years back when I was doing a project in Carrollton...about 60 miles SE.

Cooler than Sh*t!

I was actually in BWG yesterday, it was a little sporty getting in and out of there in a jet, but not terrible. Nice FBO

Last time I was down there they also did tours of the assembly line which was really cool. Not sure if they still offer that or not.

The prime rib at the Montana Grill is awesome. It is very close to the airport.
