Everything Offends Me
I'd like to extend an apology to any of the members of this board I have offended in the last week, I have been in one of the ****iest moods I've ever been in.

Its not a good excuse, but I've been sick, my allergies kicking my ass, and having to move into a house that is, for lack of a better term, in the ghetto (all of Albuquerque is the Ghetto, but this place makes the rest of ABQ look like a resort town).

Only 1 year to go and then my lease is up.

Hey Nick - it's all temporary. And if it doesn't kill you, it makes you stronger.

Not that you did anything to spin me up, but I think most folks can relate and will forgive. Isn't that part of (a) being a Christian, (b) being a lib, (c) being a conservative, or (d) being a human? Almost everyone on this board falls into one of those categories.:yes:

I enjoy your strong-willed, straight-forward approach to things. At least one knows where you stand! Better that than duplicity or hypocrisy. Be patient, get your education, things will get brighter.

Nope - in another added piece of stressor, work and school don't go together well, and Comcast won't work with my schedule, so I'm on the hunt for a job also. I think I have one lined up, but its a pretty serious pay cut, and relies on tips for income.

I for one am offened Nick primarly because you have not offened me. What is it? Am I not good enough in your book to be offened? You don't seem to have any reservation offending anyone else. What is it Nick my religion? My profession the fact that I'm from the east coast?... Oh wait I guess you have offened me. Never mind, thanks.:D

As an atty you should be familiar with the spelling of the word "offended"!! It's very similar to "offender"! :D
 
Well - here's the kicker. I found out today, after having to leave work last night and spending the entire night in the worst way possible, that I have Mono.

Tested positive on the Mononucleosis blood test. 1 week best rest and a chance that my spleen will explode.

Awesome :D

Actually, sorry dude. Mono can take a while to get over. You do have to rest and take it easy to let you body fix itself. As my mom would say, drink juice!

First, I'm glad that it's diagnosed. It's not fun.
Second, use it! You now have a bona fide excuse for any untoward behavior!
Third, self-grounding. :(
Fourth, and most importantly, GET BETTER!
 
Hey - look at the bright side - at least your attitude wasn't all in your head!!! Now GET TO BED AND REST!!!

Wow. I hope you didn't catch it from me, in Jan 05 I was diagnosed with mono. I learned a lot about mono, here are some fun facts: most of the population carries it, but not many will ever develop symptoms. Consider yourself unique, Nick. Also, the only cure for mono is bedrest. Onset of symptoms is usually stress from other things such as, looking for a house, looking for another job, college.

I suggest heavy drinking.
 
Ugh! That stinks Nick! Mono BLOWS. Ditto to what Richard said just rest and as for the drinking goes in all seriousness a temporary case of Hep can go along with many mono infections so lay off the sauce for a while.

Ahhh, quit your whining. You think Alb is bad? I'm in freakin Australia which is like Arkansas filled with lazy redneck socialists(if you can even fathom that combination) and hippies with the economy of Appalacia.

There's nothing wrong with you that a bag of automatic weapons and a trip to the mall wouldn't cure.:D
