it’s real-Jeppesen

Wishing the Jep airport charts showed the runway width. Otherwise huge fan of their approach plates.
Notice it also has the, ODP and alternate mins on the same page.

Twenty years ago maybe slight edge for Jepp over NOS for GA. But the approach plates converged in layout and info more or less, so once went electronic never bought Jepp again. Certain alternate data, lighting, and t/o min data are a little easier to find in the Jepp presentation, but FF links to it all electronically so the difference is hairsplitting.

Ugh, I thought they might sell it to an aerospace company. No... to PE.

$10 says ForeFlight subs increase by at least 33% after that deal closes.

I want to say competition from Garmin would blunt their ability to jack prices, but the reality is they probably both go up...

Yes--more likely to be collusion with Garmin than competition.

Looks like it’s time to activate the Pilot subscription and learn how to use it.

I thought they got rid of Jepp Reader a few years ago.

Isn’t FliteDeck Pro still out there? What does that use as the EFB component?

I don’t know enough about this space, but I *assume* there’s some duplication of effort out there.
