If i choose not to decide, have I still made a choice?

nope, make that second best pilot in the world, there is one better... Ernst Kessler.

Please stick to the options above. After all, we have to deal with what we've got for info and options. :D

It looks like the yesses have it. Thank you all for participating in this fair, unbiased vote. :D

Nahh, he's a wuss. We were making a hamburger run from Western Montana to Savannah Georgia one day. We stopped in Rapid City, then in Lincoln. Decided to head on in to Memphis. Then over Missouri, a little bit of night, turbulence, IMC, rain etc.. and he started whining and wanting to land right now. The plane was about 20 hours out of a major overhaul, prop overhaul, new rigging and a landing gear overhaul, but we'd made it that far. I was not sure why we couldn't press on to Memphis, grab a couple of whiskeys to ease the nerves and pick through the thunderstorms on to Savannah that night. I think he just wanted to hang out with me in the middle of BFE Missouri on an Army base in the middle of the night and walk a mile or two to Buffalo Wild Wings.

or maybe I was the one doing the whining... I don't recall.

Good reason to make solo trips...

Yeah, I wouldn't have made that trip solo. Or if I had of, it would have taken me quite a bit longer to get to Savannah. I was the one who was "done" with flying for the day, may have even shed a tear to get him to land.

Always good to stretch the envelope with a CFI.

Jesse is an awesome pilot. He may throw his personal friends in to the fire but that isn't a piloting issue.

If he'd move away from that airport that breaks airplanes he'd be alright. :) :) :) :) :(

After long and serious contemplation, I was forced to pick choice #4.
I think it is the best of all possible choices, presented but reserve the right to change to choice #3.
