I know there have been a million threads/posts/discussions about iPad mounts/positions, but mine may be unique.

I am looking to mount an iPad on the back of the front seat of a tandem seat plane so it can receive Bluetooth info from a Garmin G3x and display primary flight information. The power direct wiring is not an issue as the battery us beneath the front seat. Any ideas?

I was thinking similar.

sorta like a knee board but the elastic straps are the right size to securely hold the RAM mount. And if needed, a small bit of closed cell foam is attached to the mount to tilt it to a comfortable view.

Can you find a spot for one of these. The tablet could easily be removed and if you take some tension off the arm it could be swung out of the way. We hang a tablet off each of our car headrests this way. When not in use we just remove the arm and the mount and the ball on the headrest is barely visible:

1) Use an I Pad suction mount to your side window, and make a long extension to get it your I Pad Ram Mount to the center of the rear of the front seat.

2) Clamp this to the bottom of your seat upload_2020-8-5_20-40-32.png
