    Hello,

Does anyone have any idea what the insurance overlords are charging for insurance on things like Super Petrel, Seamax, SeaRey ?

    Thanks!

I think the chart in your signature pretty much has it covered.

I can't comment on those airframes specifically, but anything amphibious or even on floats isn't what most would consider to be inexpensive. I'd probably figure on an annual premium of $5000ish using a more traditional airplane like a Super Cub as a point of reference.

@X3 Skier aren't you working on one of these?

    Aventura HP kit on order.

For the OP, the best source is Seaplane Pilots Association. SeaplanePilotsAssociation.org.

They have an affiliation with Falcon Insurance who is probably the “go to” for seaplane insurance. They even offer seaplane rental insurance.

I asked AVEMCO and they would only do liability.
    Cheers
