IMC Flying while out of Flight Review

[labbadabba]

I'm pretty sure I can go up with a CFII if my Flight Review is expired, I just can't log it as PIC.

Right?

Right?

Will you be the sole manipulator of the controls? Are you rated for the category and class? Log PIC. Just don't ACT as PIC.

I'm still allowed my quota of 3 stupid questions a year. One down...

Do the flight review with the CFII, problem solved.

61.51(e)(1).
A sport, recreational, private, commercial, or airline transport pilot may log pilot in command flight time for flights—

(i) Except when logging flight time under §61.159(c), when the pilot is the sole manipulator of the controls of an aircraft for which the pilot is rated, or has sport pilot privileges for that category and class of aircraft, if the aircraft class rating is appropriate;

Simple solutions deserve simple problems.

There's no place for that kind of thinking here.

[Wagondriver]

Not instrument current? or more than 2 years since a flight review?
Either way, just get current, with an instructor.

I’ve already used my 3, so anything I ask from now on is intelligent.

I've used far more than 3.

Per calendar year, or rolling 12 months?

While he's at it, knock out an IPC too.

You must be on a different plan than me.

Per calendar year, or rolling 12 months?

12 calendar months.
