Reminds me of a great formula I just heard at work:

P = W * H

Perception = Work * Hype
 
That was funny (and predictable). And, Slappy, that is a classis scene. The story I heard was that Harrison Ford wasn't feeling well (running a fever) and ad-libbed that take. It wasn't planned that he pull the gun and shoot. The other actor was fast enough to react and the effect was so good they scrapped the original plan and kept this version.
 
plus, they played off of it in the sequel...

Well, as I recall it, that story was told in the Smithsonian, so it's got a pretty good pedigree!
