I have been stabbed, shot, poisoned, frozen, hung, electrocuted, and burned.

Groundhog Day!

Exactly. I hate winter and Phil Conner has summed up how I feel today.

"There is no way that this winter is *ever* going to end as long as this groundhog keeps seeing his shadow. I don't see any other way out. He's got to be stopped. And I have to stop him."

Groundhog Day is one of my top 10 all time movies and I didn't get your reference.

Time to dust off the DVD...

Morons, your bus is leaving.

You drive pretty well for a quadruped.

"You want a prediction about the weather, you're asking the wrong Phil. I'll give you a winter prediction: It's gonna be cold, it's gonna be grey, and it's gonna last you for the rest of your life. "

"He's the fastest jack in Jefferson County!"

"I have been stabbed, shot, poisoned, frozen, hung, electrocuted, and burned."

............. and that after 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell'. ;)

He... might be okay.
(truck explodes)
Well, no. Probably not now.

This is pitiful. A thousand people freezing their butts off waiting to worship a rat. What a hype. Groundhog Day used to mean something in this town. They used to pull the hog out, and they used to eat it. You're hypocrites, all of you!

Latest thing I heard was all the attention was traumatizing poor Phil. They may change to a mechanical Phil.
He wants trauma? Just remind him he could be dinner!

Well, this winter has been waaay too long...
I walked out this morning at 6AM and it was 12 degrees (that's Fahrenheit, for the weenies), zero wind, the snow squealing with every step, and I thought too myself, "Hmmm, not too bad this morning." Then I REALIZED what I had just thought...

Maybe there is a 12 step program for me? Somewhere warm!

January was cold (for Georgia) and WET! And now, this (again) up to an inch today, one to two inches Friday. :mad2:

When that system reaches up in the Philly area, we're supposed to get bixtweenst 6" - 12". I hope we get 57" - just hope the taxiways & runway is clear at Wings. This makes for some great photo's between Allentown & Wilkes-Barre.

I normally don't mind snow, though I never wish for it.
Right about now, though I wish it'd snow ass-deep to a tall injun,as my paw always said. :yikes:
I hate weeks of clouds and rain more than I'd EVER hate a big snowstorm right now.

Then don't move here. Weeks? How about months. I don't call it the great Pacific Northwe(s)t for nothing.

Love the movie.
"...I bought you, I own you..."
"...anything different is good..."

49 and raining in SHV. Burrrr:eek:

Sunday mid 50's and partly cloudy...if I get the HB back together (Condition Inspection) I hope to once again go do battle with Gravity!

To all the POA members stuck in the cold, crappy, frozen lands North of Shreveport...stay warm and take heart; warm weather is a day closer than it was this time yesterday!:D
