I'm not likely to get another plane but one that had really appealed to me before had an option of a wide open glass/plastic cabin, including down front, like a helicopter. I do not remember the brand or type but suspect it had a from factor a lot like the Tecnam 2006 ( I do not think it was a SEL puller). I think it would have been a 4-6 seater, certainly not a 10-12. It might have been the Tecnam in a form no longer offered.

Anyone know this plane?

Both of those look similar, will check them out, thank you.
Not the optica thingy, I would need beer goggles...

ascender kit plane would be close to what you are describing. The Double ender project preceded it.

There have been a couple of single-engine pushers with double boomed tails (like a Cessna 337). The Anderson-Greenwood comes to mind, but thre was another Piper? or something.

Then there's things like the Partenavia Observer.

I use to camp in Livingston Manor NY and I think a P68 would fly low over the rivers. Was so cool looking up into the cockpit and seeing the pilot. Looked like an amazing way to fly.

Some of the Maule versions like the M-7 have lower than usual side windows - that's about the closest I can recall seeing.

Probably short the number of seats you’re thinking of but definitely looks like the front off a helicopter.

Looks cool, but they don't quite seem to be in production yet.
