Humbolt county/eureka/arcata pirep

I’m going to del loma “resort” on the trinity river- about 30 miles west of weaverville, about 70 miles east of arcata, about the sane distance west of Redding.
There are several public airports not far from del loma - lonnie pool in weaverville (O54) and hoopa (O21) are closest. But I’m guessing to get a rental car, I’ll need to fly into Redding (KRDD) eureka or arcata.

Is anyone familiar with the area airports aware of other options?

Scratch KACV unless you are comfortable with an ILS to near minimums as IFR is very common at that airport, be it fog for marine layer.

Thx- likely I’ll either fly into Redding or drive the whole way from SF.
Very familiar with the NoCal marine layer, sadly.

While KACV often has low ceilings, in about 20 flights there only went missed once. They have commercial service, so rental cars, etc. are available there. Of course, one's comfort level may vary.
