Wow, that is one list of airplanes. Do you have the time to fly all of them?

Wow, that is one list of airplanes. Do you have the time to fly all of them?

Im too busy trying to paint, upholster or install radios in all y’all’s birds :) But yes I fly all of them…

When we find an airplane that’s been sitting a while, we bring it back to shape and fly it for 25-50 hours. We’ve been using some of these planes to improve some of our shop processes little by little - hence why you don’t see them fit sale yet.

We are down to a week and a day or two for a clean strip and paint using imron and new hardware. So we can call it two weeks with no dents or damage.

Upholstery is soooo subjective. It isn’t a primary business for us even though our upholstery people at the shop have 30-45 years each doing it (2 people). So time varies.

Avionics we can do super fast - I do those often while watching horrible reality TV. :). I harnessed a. Three screen Dynon on about a week complete with GPS and audio panel as well as autopilot. That doesn’t include the servos ….

Own a 180 (or it owns me)
Been shopping for a 140 for over a year. Everything we've looked at has either not been registered to the person trying to sell it, or had bad structural damage the seller wanted to hide or didn't know about. If anyone has a '47 140 or later... let me know... It's been a rough go.
I lust after early model 210's, and Aztecs.

Half of a C414 and half of a C172N.

I bet flying half a plane is a real trick...

Or if you joined the two halves together then you would have a C293...
The Cessna 293 is powered by a Lyconental IO-680 with 8 cylinders and a 4-bladed propeller, delivering 390 horsepower. It has 3 fuel tanks standard with an optional fourth tank, carrying up to 262 half-gallons usable. It is half-pressurized, maintaining a 4.2 psi differential half of the time and suddenly depressurizing the other half of the time. There are 5 seats standard and a sixth optional seat, half of which is usable as a lavatory.
