How far do/would you drive to your hangar?

Dean, you lucky dog!

Is that lucky for having a house and hangar at the airpark or being Diana and Toms neighbor? I think both will be GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oo-Oo! Though my house is 21sm from my hangar, that could change. I'm on my way to look at a 10 yr. old house which would position me about 10sm closer.
Near marina and Reid State Park(lots of beach at the Park), 2 car garage, boat shed, shed, and very nicely landscaped. Basic geographic area:

My hanger/field is 1 mile down river,my business is another mile down.It makes it handy.i am able to storm my tractor and stuff there,right in the middle.It is alos nice to be able to drive past every morning and see that little strip.It kinda cheers me up.In the summer i leave one of the planes out front on floats,and sometimes skis.I would'nt change a darn thing.The hanger is close enough to go and barbecue for lunch.Sometimes when i get bummed out,i have to stop and get some gratitude.I think i am the luckiest man alive.

Some advice from a dumb woods boy.Next time you are on a lawn with a for sale sign,look around and see how close you can tie down the plane.If it ain't within eyesight it is much too far.I could see the plane out front for roughly 9 months a year,depending on ice and high water.
