Does anyone know how to join the homebuiltaiplanes.com forum. I tried this morning and apparently I am spam, and it said to contact the admin but I don't know how to contact them.

At the bottom of the website there is a "contact us" link which goes to the admin. If that doesn't work send me a PM here with the email and username you're trying to use and I'll get it to the admin (I'm a moderator there).
 
I got logged in but after about 3 or 4 post while reading. The post text is grayed out?

Admin tells me your account was mistakenly flagged a spam and banned, but that it was fixed. Not sure if somebody clicked the wrong button or a software glitch (the forum software was just upgraded). Try it again; if that doesn't work try clearing cookies and try again; if that doesn't work let me know. Or try the "contact us" link as described above, which goes directly to the admin.
 
I just tried to clear the cookies. If I did it right. No change. I can only read 3 post on any given thread.

Not trying yo hijack the OP's thread/issue, but what's the point of hiding useful information behind a wall? Especially in such a small community as GA?

Imagine if most car/boat/bike forums were this way.

Did you clear the cache as well? What browser are you using? What if you try a different browser or different device?

I let the admin know you're still having trouble, I'll let you know what he says.

It isn't behind a paywall (unlike a lot of specialty aviation forums) though you do have to create a free account to view posts. It's apparently an error that started when his account was mistakenly flagged as a spammer.

OK. I don't disagree, but I don't know what the answer is. I'm a moderator there but I'm not privy to the business plan of the forum owner, who is trying not to lose money on it as the previous owner did. At least it didn't go to only paid access like many other aviation forums.
 
I did clear those as best I know how. It happens at work and at home. I will try a different browser at work and see how that goes.

Admin says "it's fixed now"; let me know if it isn't.

That's an even bigger issue, but it would become too much of a drift.

I am a member of a public forum for the type of plane I am building as well as a private forum. I post a lot more on the private forum because I know it won’t show up on Google searches.
