i was just found to have a Hiatal Hernia. Is it grounding or can I continue flying? Can I delay it and keep flying until I want to set up the surgery? I have to call back later this week to find out more about what exactly is going on and get a better explanation.

Thank you!

hiatal hernia is a common findings in patients most asymptomatic
when they incarcerate it becomes an emergency no way to predict which one will do
large hernias tend to to that
associated with esophagitis could lead to barretts changes precancer
no reason not to fly
if symptomatic and no motility disorder ie achalasia then laparoscopic robotic nissen fundoplication 1 hr 30 minutes procedure is usually succesful, 2 days in hospital 10 days before flying again
cheers

if you had your rotator cuff repaired 3 days ago and had to type with one hand then you could forgive some errors will use spell check from now on

Didn't you just post in another thread that you flew a 150 a few days ago? How did you manage that? Typing is easier than flying.
