I know less than nothing about gliders, but am a firm subscriber to the theory that devices which look right, usually work well.

On that standard, then, this must be a honey of a sailplane.

This Dianah design is very interesting. Look at the cross section of the tail boom. You sure don't want to ground loop that one. A Schempp Hirth design just looks more rugged. OTOH I would so love to fly one of those.

Who knows, never thought I'd fly a jet either. So maybe someday. Hope so....
