That being said, I'm seeing the same thing. 1970s panels, mid to high time engines, and high prices. I think I'll keep my 172 for a while.

I understand that things are worth what folks are willing to pay for them but how far up are 182 prices recently? 10%, 30% or higher? Any idea what is driving it?

Not sure if it’s in your eyesight but would a Cherokee 6 fit the bill??

I'm a high wing guy and the knees aren't getting any younger. But looking at them on Barnstormers, compared to a 182 the prices are pretty attractive with more gizmos and lower time motors.

I fly a 182H so I get the 182 fondness. I love our club 182. But always had a glad eye for the 6/300. I think mx wise they are probably similar. Never flew one but it’s on the bucket list.
I was looming on controller and there sure is a lot of 182’s out there. A lot of newer ones way out of my price range.
