Sounds like one dead and one critically injured.

"An Enstrom F-28A helicopter and Enstrom 280C helicopter collided in mid-air near Hammonton Municipal Airport in New Jersey around 12:25 p.m. local time on Sunday, Dec. 28,” the FAA wrote."

When I saw the photos of the helicopters on the ground, my first thought was how unusual it was that two Enstroms, a rather rare aircraft, managed to find themselves occupying the same slice of airspace. It's likely they were in a flight of two, the details of which will be known soon.

This shows them on a collision course...

Looks like some sort of loose formation deal just before 15:00Z. Then ADSB drops out and maybe they crash nearby over an hour later, possibly at about 16:24Z.

Flight school?

Helicopters are magnetic. I can’t count the number of times I’ve had nothing in my airspace but two helicopters and they always fly towards each other. Thankfully, there is a helicopter common frequency they use to talk to each other which includes all the medical, police and sheriff’s departments.

Yes, rumors are they flew together for breakfast and took off together.
