You have two choices after a Heart Attack. One is to apply for a special issuance certificate. If you chose that you will undergo additional and probably numerous medical tests. Special issuance is valid for six to 12 months along with other flight restrictions. The FAA wants to make sure despite coronary ills, you wouldn't endanger public safety while flying.
The second choice is to disprove the diagnosis. If you have the desire, determination and financial resources you can regain your flying privileges.

You always have other choices,

continue to fly with out a medical, annuals, or compliance of any reg, simply allow your medical laps go ultra light, or simply go away, sell the aircraft, turn the hangar over and climb in the RV and drive right by a school bus full of kids with the glycerine pill under your tongue.

the 3rd class medical is useless.

You can try, but that's virtually impossible no matter how much money you through at the problem once you've had the diagnosis. You know what the odds are that the diagnosis was erroneous?

Heart attack is not a formal medical diagnosis although the term is a colloquial substitute for myocardial infarction. How was the diagnosis made? Most heart problems or suspected heart problems will probably require a rather extensive medical evaluation to satisfy the FAA medical department.
