I know I've seen threads on this but can't find them. Are there shops anyone can recommend for refurbishing a pair of Bose A20s?

Had them for 6 years and the fabric on the ear piece tore, hoping a high quality place can fix them up.

Any suggestions + ballpark pricing appreciated, thanks!

You can get a refresh kit for them. Comes with the new pads, interior fabric and upper padding. I had to do that to mine a little bit back. I think I got it on Amazon.

I got a bose refresh kit from Sportys. Cost was around 50 bucks.
I didn’t realize how worn out the ear cups were. All wear items are included. I did my wife Light speed with a kit from Light Speed.

Bose will do it for 225 or so and you get all new including the wire and plugs.

I’ve sent 2 each A20s to Bose. One was completely smoked due to an improperly wired LEMO-6 plug. Both came back as good as new. Well worth it.

Appreciated the suggestions. Went with the DIY. Got the kit from aircraft spruce today. Took 5 mins and went from busted as hell to good (850h on them). $43 for the ear cushions, boom mic windscreen and head cushion. Brand new again!

(The big tear happened in the last 1 hour flying lol, they didn't look THIS ratty before)

I got great quality parts at www.hobbsflyer.com. And they have detailed instructions too. I have rebuilt a few Bose A20s...

I just did the cushions, windscreen and head pad on mine a few months ago. It's so quick and easy that I can't imagine sending it out for a job like that.

BTW, shouldn't you have put an O-ring retainer on the mic?

yeah this was my first time ever changing them, I didn't know how easy it was. If I had, I never would have asked for shop recommendations lol!

My 'new again' picture was only including the ear cushions. I haven't replaced the other stuff yet, I just have it ready when I want to :)

From the brief description in post #1, I thought it was something more serious. :)
