Hard landings

I would not classify that as a "hard landing". That looks like a stall from 20'.

That's not going to buff out. Going to br awhile beforethat plane flys again.

Walked away from it AND what appears to be centerline... whats the problem?

Banner tow ops is what I heard.

This makes those NASA testing videos look tame...

I "think" that is the 150 that Linn Emrich built for his glider tow machine at Seattle Sky Sports, at the long ruined Issaquah Airport.

"Mighty Mouse," 180hp!

Looks like he landed on the left wingtip. Any word yet on whether he filed a flight plan!?

That's the one,,,,,, snagged a little too much rag this time.

I Think I can, I think I can, I think I can ---oh shi-!

Poor guy. I won't point any fingers...

He could have had a health issue right at the wrong moment (as if there is ever a right moment to have a health issue flying)

Wind shear maybe .. so many things. Could happen to any one of us at anytime. Flying is risky.

I don't think that plane will fly again. It's totaled.

Does this tell ya how tough a Cessna 150 is? the guy walked away.

Walked away from it? Good landing.

If you can use the plane again....great landing.

I didn't think it was possible for my friend who at around 50 years old and in great shape literally dropped dead from a massive coronary either. :dunno:
I think he was being facetious. As if the 2nd Class medical was really super rigorous.

At what point does a 'hard landing' become a 'crash'. Cuz THATS a crash!

Personally, my criteria is when the airplane is no longer usable....which looks to be the case here.

That 150 isn't your garden variety 150, that one may be worth the rebuild because of the 150/150 mod, plus all the others. This one may be worth the request for a data tag swap.
or buy a salvaged fuselage and rebuild it.

But then again is rag dragging worth the effort?
