I always get a bit morose today. It's also Kent State Massacre day.

Interesting timing. My brother was in country that month. My father was a veteran of WWII and he was a complete supporter of the war until that day. A lot of minds were changed after that event. The picture that won an award was shown around the world.
 
There were two known views of that scene. The one that won a prize, and the one from the other side that showed a torrent of blood coming from the young man’s head.
