Some things are usually determined by eye-dominance as well. I'm lefty for throwing sports like football/baseball/basketball, but shoot pool (or guns) righty due to right-eye dominance. I "prefer" my left foot in soccer if I really need to put some power on the ball, but am perfectly fine using the right foot as any decent soccer player should. I slalom ski "goofy-footed".

I'm just the opposite. Left eye dominant. I shoot a rifle or shotgun left handed. Pistol with whichever hand I pick it up, but I prefer the right. Still use my left eye, however. I play ball, bat, golf, etc. right handed. I can imagine nothing more awkward than throwing a ball with my left hand. I write with my left hand and prefer to use a mouse for the computer with my left, although I can also use my right hand. Confused yet?

Strange part about me being a lefty, when I see other lefties write it looks funny to me....
