Thanks. I had to modify my profile for it to show up. Should be a licensed pilot "soon" satisfied my CFI with the flight portion. Trying to organize our schedules to review the Oral portion. He doesn't seem that concerned with it since I did fine with it last time.
 
Thanks everyone. It was a peaceful day at home. Husband wanted to go flying but it takes everything I have just to go to the airport for the training. (Husband is IFR) Sitting in the plane not being able to touch anything would not be fun at all. <Sigh> Husband doesn't trust I can fly until the DPE says so.

Congrats in the B day..... as for flying... I have been for 30 years and I don't care if I am PIC or a passenger... I have a great time either way. Sometimes not being PIC is more fun,, that way I can look down as the beautiful world slowly passes by.. :yesnod:
 
Yes Ben it "can" be. But being licensed and being a student is two different things. I have no problem riding in a car but flying in the plane and not being allowed to do anything to help is NOT fun at all. Especially since for the last two years I've been at the controls (for the most part)

The ride near my birthday in 2012 was successful on April 28th. IR Ride last year was also successful.

Birthday is still 3 weeks away. 41!

He was one of the ones who was jumping to unwarranted conclusions in a thread you had started. When I reviewed the thread yesterday, I saw that there were others, and a degree of piling on. I guess the one who seemed worst to me did not seem so to you.

I'm always amazed at the degree to which some people think they can size up other pilots without ever getting in a cockpit with them. For some reason, on the Internet, people have a tendency to seize on a small amount of information and extrapolate that into all kinds of wild conclusions. On another board recently, at least one person developed a negative opinion of an instructor I occasionally fly with, when the only thing he knew about him was that he had told me about a local FSDO policy, and I hadn't taken lesson time to cross-examine him about his source for the information.

I wasn't saying that he left because of you. I just linked to that message because it was the one where he said he was leaving. The "drunk" comments were from someone else.
