Hangar brewery

Some could get by with a simple still....we need bourbon too.

Just discovered this place recently. Haven't been there yet, but I don't think my non AOA, non parachuted pretty boy Mooney Ovation would do well at this field. I think I will find a DF to fly me in a more suitable airplane.

Real pilots drink in their buddies hangar from the beer fridge. No self respecting pilot would be caught dead in one of those new age yuppie beer dives.

The trick is to fly there for your hundred dollar hamburger, drink a coke with lunch, and get a growler to go. Growler lives in hangar beer fridge.

Maybe so, but I've eaten/drank at the Hunter-Gatherer that the same guy owns several times and really enjoyed it. Since its been open over 20 years, it's not really "new age". I'll definitely stop by when I overnight in Columbia.

Well sometimes the buddy's hangar beer fridge might only have PBR or Bud Light. The brew pubs and regular bars with multiple taps have all sorts of tasty delights. Plus you get to meet new people.

New people? That's scary. Like flying without a BRS. Or flying an experimental. Or <Gasp> a canard. And scariest of all, flying with ME!

This place got it's start at Redlands Airport in SoCal. It's now just across the street. Fly in with a designated pilot and try a sample flight of 9 beers. Pretty cool place.
Love it. Need to find a designated pilot. I was solo when I checked it out. Bought some and DRANK IT AT HOME.
