GWX-70/75

Does anyone have experience with the newer Garmin radars (GWX-70/75/80)? Looking at an airplane with an RDR-2000 and having a hard time finding PIREPS, and info on deciding to replace it. Either will be used with a GTN750/G500TXi.

I regularly fly a C414A with a G600TXi and GWX70. It’s really a fantastic unit. It works seamlessly with the 600. Not hard to learn how to use its functions. What else do you want to know?

Just noticed I didn't actually ask a question. I'm interested in how it compares with an older radar. Trying to decide on the Garmin unlock fee vs replacing with a GWX 75.

The 75 has sector scanning, and it uses less power and no warmup, but I not sure of the practical value of those.
