Final Approach
Now that I am done with regulations flashcards, the PTS and foggles I am looking for some materials aimed at IFR weather flying in light airplanes.
Not textbooks - but something scenario based and more of an easy read. Videos are great too.
I have two of the sporty's instrument flying dvd's - spring and winter weather http://www.sportys.com/PilotShop/product/13661
they are great, easy to watch and are an hour and a half each. I learned a lot from watching these - they follow richard collins along on actual flights and feature in-cockpit video which is a big plus. I'll probably wind up buying the summer and fall DVD's too.
The downside is that most of the flying is done in a FIKI P210 with weather radar and a stormscope.
I'm considering getting some of the sporty's air facts IFR dvd's. There are a ton of them - any recommendations?
