GPS tracking phone app

Search for IGC files. There is a bunch of stuff out there that does it better then google tracks.

I used to use MyTracks. I now use MyFlightbook, which will also record your flight path...and save it (along with all other typcial data) in an electronic log book. Android and iPhone versions available.

I run CloudAhoy on most of my flights - listed my CFI as a "buddy" so he gets the data too. He's had some useful comments (and more than my fair share of ribbing) after viewing. Works a LOT better with the iPhone in the flight bag (rear seat) than in my pocket under the kneeboard :)

Hmm. I'm a dedicated MyFlightBook user. Never thought of using it for this purpose. Think I'll give it a try.

Not sure I really want to leave a trail of all of my flight paths. Just sayin'.
