I completely forgot to take pictures when I did that trip. I guess I need to go back to D49 to get a picture. I recall that they are plywood panels mounted so you line them up to be on the glide path. I can’t remember the exact configuration of the panels, but it was probably one in the back between two in the front, so the middle one would appear high when you are high and low when you are low.
