Now THAT's an appropriate sentiment for the #1 post in this forum!!!!

(And yes, I do in fact remember I went to the University of Wisconsin.)

Awwoooooooo!!!

Hail to thee New Mexico
Your loyal sons are we.
Marching down the field we go
Fighting for thee
Rah Rah Rah

Now we pledge our faith to thee
Never will we fail
Fighting ever, fleeing never
HAIL HAIL HAIL!!!!

Oh, this thread needs more "Get Ready for This"

Shouldn't you be singing this one now?

Fight, Devils, down the field
Fight with your might and don't ever yield
Long may our colors outshine all others
Echo from the buttes, "Give 'em hell, Devils!"
Cheer, cheer for ASU!
Fight for the old Maroon
For it's Hail! Hail! The gang's all here
And it's onward to victory!

the only song i sing is titled "yea so Iowa State sucks"

From NorthWestern to the U of Iowa

Mine eyes have seen the glory of the shucking of the corn
They have outlawed education where the black and gold are worn
And when the game is over Hawkeye fans will start to mourn
The Cats are marching on.

Although your homes are mobile your team is not on the go
We'll be out in Pasadena while you're sitting home in snow
You'll be nodding off at halftime while your band does park and blow
The Cats are marching on.

Sorry, sorry little Hawkeyes
When, if ever will you realize
There's more to life than watching corn rise
The Cats are marching on.

No. I have moved, but that doesn't stop the flow of cherry and silver through my veins.

I'm a Lobo born...well, you get the rest.

I would, however, be more likely to sing:

Aggies, go Aggies
The hills send back the cry
We're here to do or die
Aggies, oh Aggies
We'll win this game or know the reason why.
And when we win this game
We'll buy a keg of booze
And we'll drink it to the Aggies
'Till we stumble in our shoes

Heaven help the slobs at Washington,
They're falling on their knees at mighty Washington.
The boys are there to play,
But only for the pay!
They never sign the dotted line without a Chevrolet.
Ohhhh, subsidy's the cry at Washington.
They never win a game without a referee.
And o're the land, the greasy band will
leave a trail to Washington forever!

I flew down to Florida last Monday and went over the University of Georiga's and Florida's football stadiums. Since my blood pumps orange for the Vol's these two places made my stomach turn a little. Seriously though, it would have been nice to see my boys down there in person playing.

GO VOL'S!!!

I was sorry that the Gators couldn't keep up their winning play through the 4th quarter last night against LSU.:(

What a year for the top ranked teams in college ball. Five of the top ten lost weekend before last. Texas stayed with Oklahoma into the fourth quarter yesterday, then, the Sooners took charge. Many teams were over ranked. Florida lost yesterday; So Cal. can you believe it. And Illinois upsetting Ken's allum!

I love college football. Just no telling what's gonna happen.

Best,

Dave

The eyes of Texas are upon you!

So, while I'm not a huge College Football fan, I do have to say this, which made my freaking night tonight.

Going to GoLobos.com (the official UNM Athletics site), had a special intro to UNM Basketball.....awoooooooo!!

Of course, our star player broke his freaking leg a few days ago, so now we're stuck with the Kansas reject (JR Giddens) and his off the leg dribbling showdown and a brand new coach.

But I'm stille excited. We're not even gonna qualify for NIT this year, but I'll be damned if I won't be there cheering the boys in Cherry and Silver every week.
