GNS 430W Terrain Failure

This started happening after I updated the data cards, sometime this summer I think. The 430W works fine other than showing Terrain Failure as a message at bootup and then as a little yellow indication for the rest of the flight. I did try to re-install just the terrain data to the card without anything else selected, but that didn’t help. I found some threads on other forums with people having the same problems this spring/summer, but I don’t know if there are any answers. Has anyone here gone through this and maybe already talked to Garmin about it?

My 430W says Main SW Version 5.40 and GPS SW Version 5.0. I think those are the most recent versions.

Maybe find someone else with a card willing to let you try their card for a while? Sounds like a potential card failure.
