I am in the process of buying a Glasair II FT near San Francisco and having a hard time finding a CFI for transition training. Insurance requires 25 hours time in type/750TT.

Have already reached out to the Glasair guru CFIs, but they either aren't traveling due to Covid or have not gotten back to me yet. Reached out on the Glasair forum and Facebook pages as well. No luck yet with anyone local yet.

Hoping to find someone within reasonable distance of Rio Vista, CA. Would appreciate any leads!
 
No leads for you but if you continue to struggle reach back out to your agent and let them know. Sometimes they will find a more common equivalent though it might require more training. For me it was almost impossible to find an instructor with Questair time that could get my 15 hours of dual. They finally determined someone with Columbia time could get a venture checkout then instruct me for the 15 hours.
